An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading international law firm on an initial 12-month contract. Taking the lead on all operational and strategic HR initiatives within your given practice groups, you will have responsibility for defining and executing a people strategy that effectively meets business goals.
Working as part of a high-performing, innovative business, you will support an employee base of around 200, and manage a fully generalist remit including workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development and performance management. You will also have responsibility for supporting partners within your practice area on all people related issues and have an HR Advisor and HR Coordinator reporting into you, to ensure efficient service delivery of HR to the firm.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates will:
Ideally have worked within a law firm previously or have exposure within a large, matrixed organisation
Have experience managing, mentoring and developing small teams
Have excellent communication skills and be comfortable building relationships at a senior level
Take a pro-active approach to HR and an active role in all HR projects on a national basis
