About the role
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for providing high level support and strategic advice to senior leaders within Calvary VIC & TAS Aged and Community Care services, across the full range of HR activities. Leading a small team of HR Consultants, this position will have a strong focus on service delivery, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Regional Director People & Culture, the HR Manager is also responsible for the development and delivery of strategic HR initiatives to support the achievement of Calvary’s Workforce Strategy and broader strategic intent, in addition to managing a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes in Melbourne's Western suburbs and regions.
What you bring
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent significant skills, knowledge and experience
Demonstrated significant experience working in a similar role (in aged or community care, within a large organisation)
Demonstrated experience in leading a team of HR professionals to achieve a high performance and positive team culture
Significant experience in the management of disciplinary and grievance processes, a strong understanding of industrial and legislative frameworks and the application of these in the workplace
Significant experience in driving organisation change programs to achieve strategic objectives
Strong influencing skills and experience in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Strong written communication skills, including experience in preparing executive briefs and a range of stakeholder correspondence
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
