The Human Resources Officer will provide high level administrative support for the delivery of strategic and operational human resource management for People, Capability and Culture to enhance service delivery.
The role reports to the Principal Project Officer, People, Capability and Culture, Reform Support Services.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients on a wide range of human resources and organisational development matters, maintaining a positive client service approach.
- Plan and implement work schedules to meet deadlines and service requirements.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of practices and procedures to meet the strategic direction of CSQ's key objectives.
- Work in collaboration with all areas of CSQ to provide a high level of service to clients and ensure task and project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of human resource management delegations, legislation, directives, policies and practices to provide advice and guidance to clients and staff.
- Quality check documents, forms and information relating to human resource management activities, including use of the Aurion payroll system to process forms as required.
- Develop, maintain and regularly update databases and registers.
- Support best-practice establishment management including managing personnel/ payroll records.
- Assist with the facilitation of forums, workshops, information sessions and training.
- Draft and format letters, memos, and other documents and reports.
- Maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal clients and external stakeholders and providers.
- Prepare reports and statistical information, providing this information to managers and other clients.
- Implement and undertake evaluation of team initiatives, including preparing summary reports.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy in all documentation and record keeping.
- Contribute to team projects and initiatives as required and support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Where required, work across various teams and business units of People, Capability and Culture.
