We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated teacher to join our school community. This is a full-time fixed term position teaching a combination within the areas of Business, Junior Humanities, including Year 8/9 History & Geography and Religious Education and Religion and Ethics. The ability, and relevant qualifications, to teach Religious Education is highly desirable and dedicated support for the Catholic ethos of the school is essential. Previous experience in teaching these subjects would be beneficial.

- Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy
- Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
- Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school
- Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes
- Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum

- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes

At BCE our teachers are required to:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
All BCE teachers must have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education. Our teachers who teach Religious Education are required to be Catholic and attain Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school. If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
