BRISBANE, QLD / ENGINEERING / FULL TIME
Are you an experienced hydrogen expert looking for your next challenge? Do you like working a problem within a constrained, fast paced environment? Does helping an emerging player create a cost-effective and transformative path between renewable energy and multiple large industrial sectors appeal to you? If you have exceptional talent and a vision for a clean and more secure energy future, we want to talk.
We are looking for a hands-on Hydrogen Systems Engineer to help us build a scalable and flexible fuel cell and electrolyser control system for our v1 power bank. With a goal of small-scale deployment by end of 2023, you’ll be part of a lean, high performing team of cross-functional engineers building our v1 prototype and conducting functional testing and optimisation of our system.
Through lived experience, you understand some of the more practical challenges of product deployment in this space. You can blend your hydrogen technical know-how and analytical rigour to reduce risk for Endua and drive commercial value. You are passionate about educating a new generation of hydrogen experts and are excited to help us build that capability here on home ground.
You like to roll up your sleeves and enjoy a bit of hustle to get things done. You are obsessive when it comes to quality, safety and testing. You have an eagerness to seek better solutions and to ask fundamental questions. What motivates you in a role is when the hard yakka results in a breakthrough moment, and the level of reward that comes from seeing the impact you’re making each and every day. Like us, despite the challenges of getting a green hydrogen economy up and running, you remain optimistic and excited about the potential for decarbonisation of our planet.

About Endua
At Endua, our ambition is to power anything with 100% renewable energy, day or night, at the flick of a switch.
We are a deep tech start-up building breakthrough clean power generation and storage, powered by hydrogen, that is making it possible to deliver energy that is sustainable, reliable and cost-effective for communities, industry and remote environments.
We believe that difficult problems are worth tackling and that we can make a difference in the transition to a cleaner energy future. Green hydrogen will play a crucial role in this transition to renewable energy, but only with the right technology and business models to make it cost effective. At Endua, we are making this possible.
What makes us a standout in the clean energy sector is our strategic partnerships (CSIRO, Ampol), our deep hydrogen energy expertise, our amazingly committed VC firm Main Sequence Ventures, and the >$4M in commercialisation grants we have successfully secured to support our growth.
We’re a highly skilled, tight-knit, collaborative team and are looking for people as passionate as we are to help build our business from the ground up and make impact on a global scale. What drives us every day is knowing we’re a small part of a bigger picture to protect our most important asset, our planet, for many generations to come.
