Talent International is searching for an experienced ICT Delivery Solution Architect to join our utility client. This role is based in Fortitude Valley on a 12-month contract basis + likely extensions.

About the role:
The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for leading solution architecture activities required to support the ICT Delivery lifecycle, from idea/inception to requirements, through to solution options analysis and into solution delivery (project implementation).
Responsibilities:
Assist in the definition, design and implementation of the ICT program of work, to meet the requirements of the broader strategy
Work with GM ICT Delivery, Enterprise Architect, Data & Information Services Architect, senior stakeholders and business analysts to aid in the delivery of the ICT Portfolio of Work
Lead the development and delivery of solution architecture for our approved projects, ensuring they leverage approved architecture standards and adopt existing design patterns where available.
Lead digital transformation of our customer and billing strategy by aligning business and technology, defining the 'why and how' that drives solution success, selecting the right product features that maximize business value, and advocating for implementation best practices that create frictionless customer and stakeholder experiences.
Partner with Data and Information services architect to ensure solution design considers data requirements and align with the Data strategy.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to external delivery partners, and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, expectations and align to the ICT Strategy
Help define internal capability requirements to support the transition of ICT Delivery projects to internal support functions.
Work with ICT Leadership team and Project Managers to shape work plans, identify risk, consider cost implications and define sustainable solutions
Use of Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool (iServer365) to centrally store and share business system and data architecture.
Requirements:Technical skills:
Demonstrated technical skills in:
Experience in the design and delivery of modern CRM and Billing technologies,
Highly desirable: Salesforce, Gentrack hands on solution architecture experience.
Solution Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture concepts (TOGAF or equivalent)
iServer365 Enterprise Architecture Repository tools (or similar) and use
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
Experience and demonstrated success in designing and implementing integrated enterprise cloud solutions. o Highly desirable: Azure Integration Services, Mulesoft, SAP Orchestration.
Knowledge/experience delivering solution designs that integrate with SAP S/4Hana and MS Azure products
Knowledge/experience in delivering solutions with robust security/cyber posture and in accordance with best practice to protect the system landscape
Experience designing and implementing quality assurance frameworks.
Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and acquisition of data from remote sites/equipment
Experience / Qualifications:
7+ years in a Solution Architect or similar role.
Salesforce Solutions architect certifications highly desirable
A degree in IT, Business or related field.
Relevant architecture (e.g. TOGAF) and Azure qualifications.
Extensive experience and success in leading the design of enterprise solutions in a greenfield environment with vendor-assisted delivery.
Flexibility and adaptability; able to work in ambiguous situations with resilience, tenacity, and a propensity to persevere.
Knowledge of information, data, analytics and its application in the business environment.
Strong knowledge of modern CRM systems solution design and experience in contributing expert advice in respect of customer and stakeholder management systems.
A team player and able to explain complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders so that they can have confidence in solution decisions.
