About the role:
Reporting to the Director, ICT Services this role is responsible for the management of all ICT service delivery as per the department service catalogue, ensuring tasks are actioned according to severity, priority and addressed in a satisfactory manner. The role will also include managing and measuring performance of the ICT Services team in a consistent, respectful way, whilst meeting the requirements of the organisation.The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Services department partners with the organisation to promote better patient experiences and outcomes by transforming and automating processes that unlocks workforce potential using enabling technologies and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and support to ICT Services team members and colleagues.
- Preparing operational plans for the team to ensure that all necessary ICT tools, processes and systems are in place to meet the operational requirements of DHSV.
- Enhancing the Service Desk processes and ensuring alignment with the ITIL service delivery framework.
- Analysis business needs and operational requirements to co-ordinate ICT department project activity through effective stakeholder and team resource management
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and ICT team members to ensure that ICT-delivered services and end-user goals are understood and exceeded
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of change management.
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Team Lead position in a service desk environment.
- Leadership experience in managing and motivating a team.
- ITIL Certification.
- Significant experience in various ICT systems/languages etc. to include: HL7, FHIR, XML and SOAP.
