The role:
Are you the go-to tech-expert in your family? Would you enjoy working every day surrounded by the latest technology and gadgets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an ICT Support Technician.
We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, can multi-task and will be dedicated to finding the right solution for the end user.
Your daily duties will have you constantly meeting with new customers to discuss and solve their computer hardware and/or network issues. You will be regularly asked to troubleshoot hardware and/or software issues, install or replace hardware (including LCD screens and Batteries) and retrieve/recover customer data from hard-drives.
Whilst the role is based at our retail store, there will be times when your duties require you attend the customer premises. This may require you to work with Servers or networks to identify and/or resolve hardware issues (down to cable level) and/or provide software advice/troubleshooting for NAS, NBN, WAN, VDSL, VOIP, WiFi and others.
In this role, you will also be responsible for the day to day administration of our own company computer network (we operate a Windows Server 2016 network with N-computing Terminals running a minimum of 16 clients across multiple sites).

Salary: This is a full-time role with an annual salary between $70,000 plus superannuation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recommend software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems.
· Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
· Troubleshooting general software issues
· Downloading/Installing appropriate software drivers
· Design simple computer networks and troubleshoot existing networks
· Integrate new hardware devices on existing computer networks
· Installing or replacing hardware components (including LCD screens and Batteries)
· Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, and modems.
