Employing high performing, talented and passionate people with expertise in Professional Engineering, Science, Software Development, Project Management and Technical Support, Asension continues to experience significant growth and is seeking an ICT Systems Administrator to join their team in Adelaide.
The ICT Systems Administrator will take ownership of providing software and hardware support within the business and provide ad hoc user training when required and maintain and troubleshoot all network and computer related issues for this growing organisation.
More specifically, the ICT Systems Administrator will:
- Integrate security, physical control solutions for all confidential data and systems.
- Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users.
- Integrate and configure computer networking for best performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair of hardware, operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Test and evaluate all technology including Microsoft 365, Altium, Enterprise Architect, generic PLM system, generic HRIS and CAD.
- Enhance office IT system through appropriate upgrades and advise management on changes or improvements required.
- Help install and support of all ICT hardware and software.
The ICT Systems Administrator position will ideally suit a candidate with:
- Formal training in ICT system administration
- Significant demonstrated experience in an IT service desk environment supporting local and remote users.
- Proven, strong, Office 365 experience (including Teams), Azure AD/AD, knowledge supporting MS SharePoint and experience with VoIP systems.
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Advanced knowledge of networking
- Strong knowledge of firewall concepts and configuration with product knowledge in FortiGate.
- Familiar with JIRA and VMWare (Highly Desirable)
