Are you ready to kick-start a rewarding career as a truck driver? We're seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Welshpool as entry-level truck drivers for a unique opportunity!
Position: Entry Level Truck Driver
Location: Welshpool
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 4am to 3pm
Hourly Rate: $35.46 per hour plus penalties
Key Responsibilities:
Operation of Liquid Tanker: Receive comprehensive training in operating a liquid tanker to collect various waste materials, including septic, oily waters, acids, and solid materials such as sand.
Collection Process:
Strategic Parking: Drive and park the truck as close to the pickup point as possible.
Hose Connection: Lift off and connect hoses to the vehicle. Up to 12 hoses may be connected, with a maximum length of 120 meters if required.
Manhole Access: Raise and drag trap or manhole covers using a gattick lifter.
Secure Hose Placement: Place the hose in the collection point, ensuring a secure connection in the liquid for a duration of 15-30 minutes.
Return to Depot: Drive the truck back to the depot for unloading, utilizing controls inside the cabin.
Requirements:
No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to safety.
Ability to work Monday to Friday from 4am to 3pm.
