To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Global IT team as an Incident Response Senior Manager, located out of our Chatswood head office in Sydney Australia.

Reporting into the Cyber Fusion Centre Director, here is your opportunity to oversee and lead the Cyber Security team in Australia (5 people), and be responsible for the identification, response and mitigation of sophisticated threats to PepsiCo computer networks.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct incident response activities, including advanced investigations to identify potential intrusions and to develop remediation guidance, minimizing risk exposure and production down-time
  • Coordinate and drive efforts among multiple business units during response activities and post-mortem
  • Routinely develop and update incident response playbooks to ensure response activities align with best practices, minimize gaps in response, provide comprehensive mitigation of threats, and ensure readiness to an everchanging threat landscape
  • Maintain a professional communicative relationship with clients and management across multiple business units to provide information throughout incidents, problems and change management cycles via both written and verbal communications
  • Engage with renowned external workgroups/organisations to stay up to date with Information Security practices, trends, and predictions
  • Build incident metrics and insights to help Leadership make sound strategical decisions, and to improve CFC and Information Security maturity
  • Develop talented Information Security individuals and support local team’s growth

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Information Security (particularly within an Information Operations/Incident role), with a tertiary qualification in Information Technology and relevant technical security certification
  • Hands-on troubleshooting, analysis, and technical expertise to resolve incidents and service requests; previous experience in troubleshooting day-to-day operational processes such as security monitoring, data correlation, security operations, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge across at least three of: host-based antivirus, anti-spam gateway solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS, server and network device hardening, data loss prevention, forensics software, vulnerability management, and/or website security
  • Competence in using both internal and external ticketing systems for ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management
  • Proven experience performing analysis of security events and incidents to determine root cause and provide resolution, working extremely well under pressure
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills to influence and engage all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to proactively seek out improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of programs involving a multitude of areas and stakeholders
  • Great ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
