Join APM in our Bundaberg team as an Employment Consultant working within our Indigenous Specialist Workforce Australia program, directly helping our Indigenous participants develop their skills to find long term employment and become financially independent.
APM works within many communities in Australia, Recently APM took the opportunity to provide specialist employment services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers in various regions.
APM welcomes applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and others with relevant experience, who want to join us in our contribution towards closing the gap within the communities we work in.
Am I suited to being an Employment Consultant with APM?
Within our Indigenous Specialist Workforce Australia business, you will directly help participants develop the skills to become meaningfully employed in a suitable work environment.
Using our case management model, you will help your participants deal with and overcome any barriers to employment, find the right job, and then support them in employment.
You will have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, organisations, and communities as well as well-developed communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence.
You may have experience in Employment Services, or you may bring transferrable skills from other industries such as retail or store management, travel or sales consulting, banking, sales, or hospitality - jobs that rely on great service and achieving targets.
You are comfortable working within a business that is highly regulated regarding privacy and other contractual procedures and requirements.
