CQUniversity is seeking a motivated person to promote the Indigenous tutorial support program to higher education students and provide a broad range of administrative support across the Indigenous Student Engagement Team. You will also use your knowledge of CQUniversity’s programs to provide information and advice to current and prospective students, using your initiative to triage enquiries as appropriate. You will coordinate the tutorial assistance program to support and ensure our student’s academic progression and success in their chosen studies. This exciting role will see you use your communication and interpersonal skills to connect with our student communities and stakeholders and help CQUniversity achieve the goals within our Indigenous Advancement Strategy. Position Requirements
Ability to organise and prioritise work, meet deadlines and resolve administrative or client- related problems with minimal supervision. Understanding of equity and social justice principles. Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) and its current guidelines, and the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS). Knowledge in the use of computers Word/Excel etc, and customer relationship management/corporate information systems
