The role
Reporting to the National Individual Giving Manager, the Individual Giving Specialist is a pivotal position to continue to increase income growth for the organisation. With a lot of autonomy, you will be given the opportunity to continue to innovate and run four successful appeals per year across multiple channels. You will also have the responsibility of managing key stakeholders, including agencies, copywriting contractors and mailhouses.
You won't be all behind the scenes though! You will have the opportunity to be donor facing where required where you can speak to both active and lapsed donors to make sure the direct marketing strategies are hitting the mark!
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating design, external and internal stakeholders
- Successfully manage campaign timelines
- Facilitate end of campaign wrap up and reporting
- Create landing pages for executing eDM appeals
- Write creative copy and develop compelling content libraries
Skill and experience
This role requires a talented Individual Giving Specialist who has the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record in direct and eDM marketing campaigns or appeals
- Ideally a background in NFP, although commercial candidates will be considered
- A strong understanding of data segmentation testing, and digital skills
- An innovative approach to developing new strategies focused on retention and income growth
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A great team focused attitude
- Ability to work with new and established CRMs and Campaign Monitor etc
