YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics is looking for a driven and focused Industrial / Process Engineer to join our team at our site in Hazelmere WA.

Your mission will be to identify process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement philosophies.
• Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, by redesigning and implementing operational layout change.
• Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete kaizen activities and supporting them via training, coaching, data analysis
• Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
• Be responsible for guiding and driving our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our Site Classification Assessment (SCA) program
• Work with sales team to provide information to win new business.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Previous experience in a supply chain environment and contract logistics
• Knowledge and experience with process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean etc.
• Demonstrated experience within the Supply Chain industry (across Warehousing, Transport, Air and Ocean).
• Clear communication and engagement skills with multiple levels of stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
• Excellent Excel skills are an absolute must.
• One or more of the following would be preferred: AutoCAD, Macros, Visio and VBA, BI. Transport Route Simulation / Software Simulation

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
