Industrial Electrician

Turnkey Engineering is a growing, multi-disciplined engineering company based in Ingleburn. For the past 30 years, we have completed projects and service works on behalf of our clients throughout NSW and further afield.

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Licensed Electricians to join our team for industrial and construction projects and ongoing maintenance work at a wide variety of industrial installations across a variety of industrial & manufacturing facilities. Our office is in Ingleburn, but our team usually starts and finishes on the site they are assigned to each day. We have short-term and semi-permanent placement roles available.

Duties will include the following:

• Visiting various sites to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues, as well as programmed servicing & maintenance.
• Diagnostics and fault finding on PLC, VSD, and SCADA software.
• Routine maintenance services.
• Inspection of machinery, circuits, and systems.
• Thermal imagery, Tag & Test, and other inspections
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Installation of electrical, power, control, and data systems.

Skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

• Must have a genuine commitment to safe work practices and operations.
• Must have a valid Electrical License.
• Industrial electrical experience is essential.
• Must be a team player, with a can-do attitude.
• Be available for occasional callouts after hours.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & mechanical engineering drawings.
• Experience in PLC diagnostics.
• Knowledge of variable speed drives.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and networking advantageous.
• Experience with instrumentations is also highly regarded.
• High-level communication skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment and communicate with client production staff to assist with troubleshooting, and client satisfaction upon completion of work.
• Highly regarded will be First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space, HV, and other certificates.

The role will require you to travel to various sites around the Sydney metro area. A valid driver’s license is required. In the interests of ongoing safety, Turnkey staff are all subject to random drug and alcohol screening and we seek employees who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
