To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Incident Commander to join our newly-created Cyber Security team in Chatswood Sydney.

Reporting to the local Senior Manager, this role will see you oversee and manage large-scale and significant business-impacting cyber security incidents.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Work in partnership with global incident managers for major or high-profile incidents, provide guidance and tracking of any gaps affecting PepsiCo’s information security posture, and bridge the gap between the technical and business responses to minimize the impacts of incidents
  • Ensure adherence to PepsiCo Cyber-Security Incident Response Plan and Enterprise Incident Management plan (responsible for setting the incident response strategy)
  • Coordinate and direct efforts within the Cyber Security team and third parties throughout incident response lifecycle, and act in an advisory capacity providing timely feedback and relevant updates to appropriate decision makers and executive stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Cyber Fusion Functions to test and maintain incident response plans/processes to address existing and emerging trends and threats
  • Conduct and maintain documentation for executive and targeted functional table-top exercises
  • Lead special projects related to Global Threat Management and Response programs, and participate in after-hours incidents when required

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • 7-10 years’ experience in InfoSec, especially in Information Operations/Incidents looking after hardware, networking, architecture, protocols, file systems and operating systems. Tertiary qualification and Technical Security Certification are also required
  • Experience with large-scale and complex incidents of all types, with demonstrated ability to work extremely well under pressure, perform independent analysis and distill relevant findings and root causes
  • A broad and deep understanding of cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, controls, adversary tactics, techniques, procedures, and remediation strategies within a global enterprise environment to effectively detect and respond to cyber attacks
  • Ability to influence, engage with, and communicate across all levels of the organisation in a manner that maintains high-quality, prompt, and efficient customer service; that results in actionable and mutual understanding
  • Experience with process improvements to positively impact security posture across the entire organisation
