The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Consultant - Data Architect to join our team in Brisbane. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of all aspects of data architecture, working closely with high-profile clients from various industries. You will design and implement frameworks and data analytics platforms that enable better decision support and data insight capabilities.
As the successful candidate, you will be a self-starter with extensive experience working with data and demonstrated competency in data architecture. You will possess advanced skills in data modelling, designing data repositories, metadata and master data management, and data quality best practices. You will also have the ability to undertake data maturity assessments of client capabilities and provide recommendations for business improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Consultant - Data Architect, you will have the following key responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of successful client outcomes within tight scope, time, and budget constraints
Develop and deliver data strategies and implementable roadmaps
Conduct data maturity assessments of client capabilities and provide recommendations for business improvement
Analyse, plan, and define the data architecture framework for a customer, including security, reference data, metadata and master data
Design data warehouses and data marts using dimensional modelling, Data Vault 2.0 methodologies, and data lake platforms
Effectively implement AI and ML for advanced analytics
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
Extensive experience in designing modern data warehouses with contemporary technologies
Ability to design and build ETL and data pipelines, databases, data warehouses and datamarts, BI dashboards, and analytical solutions
Broad range of experience across multiple data management suites
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
Ability to apply the DMBOK® framework as a means of communicating the scope of data management to business and technical stakeholders and in delivering data architectures
