About the Role

Ensure that information security risks are prevented and mitigated through the implementation of secure information systems in line with the strategic goals of the clients Information Services group. Assist in building a scalable organisation by improving their information systems through the management, effective communication, cooperation with team members, innovation, research and development.

Providing support to the organisation and keeping up with technological development and new products, given the clients complex and diverse infrastructure and the limited resources available.

Responsibilities include

  • The Information Security Administrator will consult with and receive direction from the Chief Security Officer
and will liaise with Group Manager Technology & Infrastructure as necessary and work closely with the
Infrastructure Lead. * Review proposals and design documentation for new information systems and changes to existing systems to ensure that information security risk is, where possible, prevented and otherwise mitigated.
  • Act as a technical security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system security design and implementation of new systems and applications across SCG.
  • Collaborate with the broader Digital Services team in relation to disaster recovery testing and business resumption exercises.
  • Lead testing of recovery from information security incidents.
  • Provide expertise and input for the management of information security incidents.
  • Review change management requests for security implications and give appropriate advice to mitigate
same.

What you will need to succeed
  • 5 years’ experience in Information/Cyber security.
  • Experience using Mimecast, Okta and Crowdtrike.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, OWASP, NIST etc.
  • CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification
  • Broad technical background related to security technologies, such as Server and workstation Operating Systems, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning Engines, Vulnerability Management lifecycle, and Compliance Management solutions.
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously but with a team focus.
