If you’re an Information Security Endpoint Engineer L1 who looks challenge straight in the eye, then we’re looking for you to join our Infrastructure Technologies department.
Endpoint Security Engineers are responsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of many different pieces of endpoint and security-related hardware and software.
In this role on offer, you’ll be looking after the endpoint security infrastructure globally for our office and hosting sites. In addition to this you’ll also be responsible for the monitoring and upgrading of site devices as well as attending to users' requests and troubleshooting issues.
A typical day in this role consists of health checks on assigned devices, interaction with users, be it on MS Teams, phone, or in person as well as attending to users’ tickets and actioning access, if allowed, through our CRM system. You will also monitor our dashboard and emails for alerts and proactively resolve. Sounds like the role for you, right? Then let’s see if you have what it takes…
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
To ensure that security at an Endpoint layer is delivered to the business in support of the ISMS.
Maintain Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability within our Security Services.
Support and assist the level 1 engineers where necessary, and user support / security escalations.
Add to our Endpoint teams skill set where there are gaps (Automation, + Cloud).
Where necessary, assisting the level 1 engineer/s to resolve calls (knowledge sharing), and to be an escalation point to take issues further.
Hot seat work on specific days.
Project work on security initiatives, aligning to our OKR’s and security roadmap.
Identify areas to improve / automate and drive their success.
Support and contribute to the Security Endpoint product stack.
Support and contribute to O365 / Azure security.
The individual must be a team player and passionate about security.
Must be able to use their own initiative and be a driven individual.
Must be able to work under pressure and keep a level head, with good communication skills.
Minimum qualifications:
Security+ (Microsoft certifications beneficial)
