THE ROLE
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be providing services to approximately 19000 staff and partners across the IAG group in Australia and NZ. The purpose and unique contribution of your role is to provide third level technical support to develop and deliver high quality productivity and collaborative solutions.
Your average day will involve supporting and growing the M365 service usage across the business with a focus on
Microsoft Teams
M365 tenancy and associated online services.
Office 365 productivity suite
Enterprise social (Yammer / Viva Engage)
M365 apps such as Whiteboard and ToDo
Video content hosting services
Monitoring of Teams service health (including real time media performance)
Graph API and automations
Miro and other Enterprise collaboration tools
This is a permanent hybrid role based in either New Zealand or Australia with team a presence across both the countries.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll have 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role with a deep technical knowledge of M365.
You’ll have advanced experience and knowledge using and administering the M365 admin portal.
You’ll have experience using PowerShell & MS Graph API for automating management of M365 services.
You’ll have a deep understanding of productivity apps such as Office 365.
You’ll have a solid understanding of Video platforms such as Vidyard and Stream
You’ll have an understanding of network and security principles and how these services contribute to the health of M365 services.
You’ll have knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (i.e., Azure AD, Azure MFA, Intune) and how it integrates with M365
You’ll have knowledge of Messaging concepts and practises.
You’ll have windows operating system and hardware knowledge.
You’ll have experience with Windows Server 2019
Preferred: Experience with Azure / Microsoft Information Protection
You’ll have excellent documentation skills for technical documentation, knowledge articles and user training.
You will have a high level of competency operating in a Scrum delivery mode.
You’ll have experience in writing policy and procedure documentation.
You’ll have ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and complete them with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to competently respond to critical system failures.
Working Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes.
Proven experience in delivering to SLAs
