Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in deployment, administration, operation, automation, migration, and scaling of software systems both on-premise and in the Public Cloud. The successful candidate should have strong security experience and will be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is secure and scalable
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available
Manage the deployment, administration, operation, automation, migration, and scaling of software systems on-premise and in the Public Cloud
Develop and implement strategies for monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure infrastructure uptime and security
Work closely with the development team to ensure the availability and reliability of the software systems
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
Automate repetitive tasks and continuously improve the infrastructure to achieve optimal performance and efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, application, and networking
Skills we are looking for :
Experience in Windows and Linux OS systems
Experience in cloud/datacentre hybrid cloud environments
Strong experience in the AWS cloud platform services and
networking
Provision and configure cloud-based resources to manage
complex application environments
Experienced with DevOps practices, specifically CI/CD and
Infrastructure-as-Code
Experience in initial setup activities, including infrastructure, connectivity, security policies, configuration management
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, deployment, administration, operation, automation, migration, and scaling of software systems
Proficiency in at least one of the major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong security experience, including familiarity with security best practices, network and application security, and security compliance standards
Experience with database administration, especially with NoSQL databases
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
