An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Injury Management Advisor to join Crown Sydney. The Injury Management Advisor will manage, oversee, develop and promote proactive injury management strategies that focus on early injury recovery and sustainable return to work. As a member of the Health Safety Wellbeing team, the Injury Management Advisor will assist injured employees and their managers following workplace injury and actively support Crown’s proactive injury management strategies.
In this role, you will assist injured employees and their managers following a workplace injury by ensuring timely follow up of incidents. Preparing, development and documenting “return to work” plans, working with medical providers and the business to develop effective plans. Providing ongoing support to the injured employee and the business, the Injury Management Advisor will contribute to projects related to the monitoring and continual improvement of Crown’s early intervention and injury management process, whilst working with the Health Safety Wellbeing team on injury prevention.
Key selection criteria:
Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety, Allied Health, or related field
Extensive hands-on injury management experience
Knowledge and understanding of NSW’s workers compensation system and legislation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to deal with difficult situations and negotiations
