What you will achieve in the role
In this role, you’ll:
- Make a critical contribution as a highly-valued member of our award-winning, energetic and close innovation team.
- Gain real-world experience in technology product development and management, with exposure to a range of respected leaders in the access to justice technology field.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our inter-disciplinary team on a range of products and projects that increase access to legal support and progress social justice.
- Help bring the products to life, understand how they are being used in the world and their impact, and contribute to iterations.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders from other Justice Connect teams, funders, product users and pro bono lawyers.
A week in this role
If you were here last week, you would have:
- Your week will commence with a team sprint planning meeting on Monday morning. You will contribute to setting the priorities for the sprint ahead and the work you should be focused on will be clear to you after this meeting.
- You will assist with testing an update to one of our technology products before we make the update live. You will collaborate with out product managers and development team, noting any issues in collaboration spaces and helping to resolve these.
- You will receive a request for user support from an external user of one of our products. You will prepare a ‘how-to’ video and send this to the person as well as adding it to our troubleshooting resource page for product users.
- You will assist the Head of Innovation and Engagement to prepare a funding application.
- You will help to set up a range of meetings with project stakeholders for the week ahead.
