About the role & team:
Our Sales team is responsible for driving digital culture throughout the small enterprise legal industry. You will be part of a team that truly gets collaboration, belonging to a group of multi-taskers who are focused, recognised, rewarded and celebrated for their efforts. Most importantly, you will use your passion for sales and new technology to support the Rule of Law.
The purpose of this role is to create new business (research) opportunities in the Small Law legal market through high velocity call activity in the Australian whitespace market territories with individual responsibility for opportunity identification, qualification, management, and successful handover to local BDM to close the sale.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Drive new business acquisition and market penetration
  • Achieve high levels of outbound calls and scheduled skype meetings to promote and demonstrate Lexis Nexis solutions.
  • Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with the purpose of expanding the penetration of LexisNexis products and Solutions.
  • Maintain and update accurate client and activity records.

About you – specifically you will come with:
  • Proven experience in lead generation and qualifying of leads through call and opportunity targets (by appointment or opportunity creation).
  • Professional services or large corporate B2B experience.
  • Great presentation skills – a professional and polished style that is both engaging and influential.
  • Demonstrated capability to achieve a high volume and velocity of daily calls.
  • Effective management of your own weekly tracker and sales pipeline.
  • Proven and effective ability in handling objections and being persistent and resilient.
  • Great followup skills and a methodical and consistent approach to your work.
  • Knowledge or experience in the legal industry is ideal, but not essential.
