Stornoway has an excellent opportunity for Inspectors and Works Coordinators to join our Roads crew in our Southern division on a full-time basis. The roles will undertake civil asset maintenance, inspection and logging of defects, assisting in the management of small crews, and other activities as required.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following mandatory attributes:
- General Safety Induction White Card
- A current Australian Driver’s (C) Class Licence
- Traffic Management ticket
- Rights to Work in Australia
Desirable criteria include:
- Previous experience in the civil asset construction and maintenance industry
- Relevant other tickets such as chainsaw operation or skid steer loading
- Heavy Combination (HC) or Medium Combination (MC) Licence
- Experience operating a zero-turn mower
- Asphalting experience
- Experience identifying and fixing defects on roads
