Here's how you'll be a part of our team
- Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime
- Permanent full-time position
- Based at Kingston as well as working on customer sites
- Must be available for night and weekend work
The position of Installer/Yardperson based at our Kingston Portables Branch, as well as working on customer sites in the Southeast Queensland area (Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast), is a key support role in supporting our customers to meet the needs of their temporary works.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:
- Assist with the installation and coordination of our range of specialised products on customer sites
- Attend prestart and toolbox meetings
- Manage customer site conditions, delays, customer expectations and variances to original quote
- Assist and work with an efficient and effective installation team
- Working with Coates Branches to organise plant, equipment and resourcing
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
- Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment.
- Promote a Safety-First culture - talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.

What you'll bring to the role
As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:
- A current, clean driver's license (MR license will be highly regarded)
- White Card
- Forklift and EWP licenses will be highly regarded
- Construction/handyperson experience, as well as the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding job
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience building relationships with customers and sub-contractors
- Good planning and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- A strong knowledge of; and commitment to safety
