Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.
IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013. With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.
We have a vacancy for an experienced Instructional Designer to join our corporate office located in Bayswater on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is established to build IMC a stronger brand identity and ensure that identity is consistent across all media and formats. To drive this brand development and assurance we will require innovative methods, and proficiency in a wide variety of tools with five primary focus areas being;
Design, create, and maintain instructional training content delivered as SCORM packages.
Design, create, and maintain instructional video content. Normally a short format (<3min) delivered on a CMS (e.g. MS Stream, YouTube, etc.).
Design, create, and maintain the IMC intranet and website this will include interfaces with SharePoint (with support from the IT team).
Design and create graphical content for assorted marketing and communication material. This could include capacity statements, annual reports, tender submissions, social media, and advertising material.
Design, create, and maintain templates across the suite of MS office platforms, including content linked word templates.
Reporting directly to the Group Manager HSEQT, this role will also involve building relationships and rapport across a wide cross section of the organisation. From the C-suite to departmental leaders to front line workers; the successful applicant will be exposed to most of the key leaders in our organisation and grow to understand our key work activities. professional matters
About you:
Extensive experience in design (instructional / video / web / graphic).
Extensive experience in design, video editing and instructional content software platforms (e.g. Captivate, Storyline, InDesign, Premiere, Final Cut).
Captivate and Adobe software experience essential.
Relevant qualifications in design (Diploma level or higher).
Easy and approachable interpersonal skills with all, from ground staff to CEO.
Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of the MS Office.
Valid Driver’s License.
National Police Clearance.
Ability to complete and pass a full pre-employment medical including drug screen.
Portfolio that you can show previous work.
