About the role
The Insurance and Administration Officer is responsible for the administrative tasks associated with the coverage and renewal of insurance contracts for Public Trustee client assets, such as house, contents, vehicles and other valuables. Processing of receipts and payments, including the journal transfer of monies from client accounts are part of your daily tasks.
This position also undertakes the reconciliation of statement of accounts and updates insurance policies in the Management Accounting and Trust Environment (MATE) system.
The position holder is responsible for processing Orders received from the State Administrative Tribunal including the allocation of Orders to Trust Managers. Maintaining electronic registers and producing reports are integral functions of the position.
