Youth, Family & Community Connections Inc. (YFCC) is a Not-For-Profit Community Organisation that facilitates a range of services across the North-West and West Coasts of Tasmania designed to support and assist youth, families and individuals to develop skills and opportunities to enable them to participate within the community.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain or extend their experience in the area of Family Support.
The Integrated Family Support Service Worker (IFSS) is a part-time (.9) position (until 30 June 2023), subject to funding. The IFSS Team work collaboratively to provide intervention strategies tailored to families with high and complex needs. The IFSS team work with families where there are at risk factors present for children, young people and their families, with the aim to minimise involvement with Child Safety Services.
Applicants must have a degree in social welfare or relevant discipline and experience in working with ‘at risk’ families and children.
YFCC is a child safe organisation. All applicants must provide a current Driver’s Licence, National Police check, Working with Vulnerable People Registration, Qualification records and current Referees. Applicants must also be willing to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical.
Remuneration is in accordance with of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 commencing at Level 5. Salary sacrifice, a vehicle and a professional development provision are also available.
