Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Test Lead to oversee all aspects of Integration Testing, with a focus on ensuring data integrity, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have experience with REST APIs and automation tools, along with a strong background in testing methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Integration Testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive Integration Test plans and strategies, considering data integrity, performance, and security requirements.
  • Design, implement, and execute Integration Test cases to validate end-to-end system functionality and interoperability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration points and dependencies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Establish and maintain test environments, data sets, and configurations for Integration Testing activities
  • Identify and prioritise test scenarios based on risk, impact, and business criticality.
  • Perform root cause analysis of integration issues and work closely with development teams to drive timely resolutions.
  • Utilize automation tools and scripts to streamline Integration Testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Integration Testing, data management, and security.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in Integration Testing, with a focus on data integrity, performance, and security.
  • Strong understanding and experience working with REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter or similar technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
  • Proven High Level Programming and scripting skills. (E.g., C# or Java and JavaScript)
  • Proven record of handling Automation Frameworks and Debugging complex automation programs using IDEs.(Integrated Development Environment)
