Description
As the Interim Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations during a critical period of transition.
Reporting to Executive Director, you will be responsible leading the finance functions, working in partnership with the Board, CEO and broader ELT to achieve the growth agenda. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a best practice finance function, partnering with various functions to make informed and business oriented decisions
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Evaluate funding opportunities, making sound recommendations to CEO and board
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational needs and strategic initiatives
- Oversee key financial management responsibilities including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, taxation, procurement, payroll, internal and external audit
- Provide strategic input to the direction of the organisation
Profile
We are seeking an accomplished track record as a Head of Finance or similar. Leading various sized organisations through transition and change. Commercial acumen, strong technical skills, leadership and the ability to be hands-on and strategic at the same time are a must. You know how to build vision and strategy effectively and lead others through change and transformation.
