ID Accounting & Wealth Solutions is a boutique accounting and financial planning organisation. Established in Geelong in 1981, we employ over 20 staff and work with more than 4000 clients. We pride ourselves on being more than just number crunchers and work in collaboration with our clients to help them achieve their financial and personal goals. Our General Manager maintains a strong focus on the welfare of our team through development and mentoring.
About the role
Our superstar accounting team is on the lookout for a fully qualified Accountant in a full-time capacity.
With at least three years’ experience in public practice and having completed your CA or CPA (or working towards completion), you are confident in preparing business activity statements, income tax returns and financial statements with the ability to process complex compliance activities including CGT and Div 7A.
With a strong desire to exceed our clients’ expectations you are an excellent communicator and are able to manage conflicting priorities whilst continuing to maintain a high standard of work.
As a team player you have a desire to mentor and develop junior staff to be the best they can be.
Under the guidance of our General Manager and the Directors you will be encouraged to see the bigger picture and take that extra step for our clients.
Salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience.

Skills and experience
- Minimum three years public practice experience in tax and business services.
- Tertiary qualified and CA/CPA qualified (or working towards qualification).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager highly regarded.

Salary: $59,999.00 – $69,999.00 per year
