Our client is a successful medium-sized Accounting Practice located in the northern suburbs. They are now seeking an Intermediate Accountant with 2 – 4 years' experience to assist the team with a variety of tasks working with clients across a diverse range of industries.
The role will involve assisting the team in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax returns for Trusts, Companies, Partnerships and Individuals. The role is not client facing however experience in giving advice will be an advantage.
The role will require a high level of technical competency and the ability to work independently.
To be successful in this position you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
A high level of technical competency
Strong communication skills
Exposure to different types of tax structures
Advanced computer skills with experience in Access/Handisoft an advantage
Ability to be self-sufficient with a high attention to detail
To be a team player and work well with other staff
