Intermediate Accountant - Public Practice

Our client is a Public Practice Accounting firm that provides quality accountancy, bookkeeping and advisory services to their clients.

The firm is now looking for a motivated Intermediate Accountant to join their team and service their existing clients.

You will be:

• A great communicator
• Adapt and eagerness to utilize technology in your role including MYOB and Xero
• Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
• Able to demonstrate that you have 2 plus years’ experience as a minimum working within an Australian Public Practice
• Degree qualified
• Looking to pursue CA or enrolled

The job responsibilities will include: -

• Preparation of IAS/BAS returns
• Preparation of income tax returns and financial accounts for HNW clients, companies, trusts, Self-managed superannuation funds and sole-traders
• Preparing accounts and work for self-managed super funds
• Liaising with third party stakeholders and agencies such as ATO,ASIC and State Revenue offices.
• Providing assistance in researching a range of taxation matters such as income tax, capital gains tax, GST, international tax and state-based taxes
