THE WHO:
Having been in business for the better part of 3 decades, this business has certainly mastered its craft. Specialising in civil construction, roads, water infrastructure, rail, and land development, our client has a broad pipeline of works spanning through Queensland and New South Wales.
THE WHAT:
Working autonomously, you’ll be a mid-level Civil Estimator in a team of 4 based in Toowoomba (there is also a smaller Brisbane office which is an option, too). Using Expert Estimation, you will be pricing jobs for local government and council bodies and some smaller private tenders ranging from $20k through to $15m. Additionally, you will:
Complete detailed resource estimates
Prepare tender submissions
Coordinate with site-based teams and suppliers to assist with RFI’s
THE THINGS WE NEED:
Reporting into a Senior Estimator and Estimating Manager, this role requires someone with 3-5 years of civil infrastructure experience. The ability to work autonomously but collaboratively is key. Additional requirements include:
Proven experience in Australian civil/rail infrastructure as a Civil Estimator
3-5 years first principle estimating experience
Competency with Expert Estimation
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Understanding of civil construction methodology
