The Opportunity
Our team of consulting professionals have demonstrated a commitment to ongoing excellence, sustained growth, and successful project outcomes and as a result, we are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer to be a part of a driven, supportive and collaborative team environment and partner with our clients in delivering medium scale projects and other minor capital works.
This position will be based in Melbourne, but may require periods of time to be spent working alongside clients
About You
We are seeking a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with exceptional technical design and project management experience, undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites with a passion for developing and building networks and client relationships. Our Industrial work gives us the opportunity to work on exciting projects throughout Australia.
You will be highly organised with outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes for the business and our clients. We also expect that you will be able to:
Provide Mechanical Engineering and Project Management support to deliver key projects with an emphasis on offering innovative solutions, with an emphasis on quality, safety, schedule, service, and value for money results
Learning client’s processes to gain an understanding of our client’s business across a wide range of industries
Build strong customer relationships, and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations
Demonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project management capabilities while embracing a culture that values teamwork.
Provide implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expediting
Previous site experience will be well-regarded
