About the role
This role involves assisting the Business Services team in providing Tax and accounting services to clients, ensuring adherence to the firm's quality standards and timelines.
Your duties will include,
- Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation summaries
- Financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF’s
- Consider and implement taxation planning for tax minimisation including CGT
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and FBT returns with the ATO
- Assessment and management of client Superannuation Funds
- Liaise with clients and advise on technical matters as they arise
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or commerce
- CA/CPA qualified or part qualified
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience communicating with clients and building strong professional relationships.
