Internal Audit Manager

Reporting to the Group General Manager – Internal Audit, this role is responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality risk-based internal audit for their allocated portfolio of Crown’s business, as well as developing and leading a team to ensure Internal Audit achieves its purpose.
Can be located in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and deliver an internal audit plan that targets the key risks and activities that matter most to Crown
- Take a pragmatic and solutions focused approach to auditing
- Provide input and recommendations on the development of the Internal Audit Strategy
- Prepare valuable and insightful reporting for management, Executive and the Board
- Bring an innovation and growth mindset that works to evolve and improve the existing ways of working
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to understand Crown’s strategic and business objectives, as well current and emerging risks
- Lead, motivate and coach staff and continuously uplift individual and team capability
- Be a strong advocate and educator on the role and purpose of the Third Line
- A passion and drive for internal audit as a business enabler
- Prior experience managing people and helping a team navigate change
- A strong understanding of internal audit and risk management concepts
- Relevant degree, CA, CPA or CIA qualified – Essential
- Experience (minimum 6+ years postgraduate) in a similar role or via top tier Chartered Accounting firm
- Previous experience working in highly regulated environments (desirable)
- Prior experience using data analytics and delivering IT audit (desirable)
