Internal Auditor

The Opal Australian Paper Division is the home of Reflex and is a leading employer in the beautiful Latrobe Valley. With over 850 team members on site, the Maryvale Paper Mill is the largest manufacturing plant in the Opal portfolio.

We have an exciting opportunity available with 2 Internal Audit roles having just been created. These roles report directly to the General Manager - Technical. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an exciting change that is occurring in our business and drive innovation, transformation, and modernisation of a Maryvale business.

This will include.

- Scheduling and conducting both internal systems and external requirements (e.g. contractor audits)
- Liaising with Management and the relevant teams to effectively plan and scope the reviews.
- Lead non-conformance closeout (project plan and project manage) (ISO, Enviro, MHF audits, customer audits),
- Communicate at all levels of the plant and be highly influential without having to use authority.
- Experience with an SAI Global, Deloitte (standards) preferred
- Running and conducting internal audits
- And delivering insightful and meaningful reporting for senior management with a strong focus on data analytics

Ideally, we are seeking two individuals with on the solid industry experience or have managed a client base has included large multi-site manufacturing & industrial organisations.

Specifically, we are looking for;

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 5 years' experience with diverse internal audit exposure
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement capability and strong presentation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and an interest in systems, data analytics and process improvement
