Tas Cabinetry Supplies is a Tasmanian owned business suppling building materials within Tasmania, primarily supporting trade, architects and designers with many exclusive high quality brands along with all the must have products. Based in Cambridge, and newly located in Devonport, we supply and support businesses State-wide.
This role is crucial to our organisation as you are the link between customers, suppliers and our warehouses.
Qualifications & experience
- Enjoy talking to customers and answering their questions by providing potential solutions to their problems.
- Clear and concise communication, showing attention to detail.
- Excellent IT knowledge in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
- The ability to be highly proactive and work autonomously are crucial.
- Highly self motivated with a desire to succeed.
- Knowledge in the building materials industry would be an advantage.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist customers with their orders and ensure supply.
- Identify improvements in processes to meet customer and supplier critical issues and requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and freight companies to assure delivery timelines are met.
- Effectively communicate with both customers, suppliers and internal staff.
- Negotiate and quote customer projects and liaise with suppliers on projects.
- Support architects, designers and customers with product information and selection.
