The Opportunity
The role will provide the successful applicant with exposure to all facets of the supply chain from order coordination through to door delivery.
We are seeking self-motivated individuals who, due to recent growth, will be a welcome addition our current operations team. The candidates will have proven experience in the freight and logistics industry.
This is an opportunity to learn or apply your knowledge in all aspects of the operation.
Reporting to the Operations/General Manager, on a daily basis you will:
- Co-ordinate import shipments from order through to delivery
- Communicate effectively with service providers, supplier and overseas partners
- Tracking vessels and liaising with shipping lines and consolidators for import documentation
- FCL & LCL Cartage Co-ordination
- Checking & Processing Import Documentation
Desired Skills / Experience
- Previous Experience in a Freight Coordination Role
- Strong written & verbal interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for freight / logistics
- Solutions-based attitude
- Previous experience using Cargowise software will be highly regarded
