We are looking for an experienced International Sales Manager to join this leading tourism group. Work for the largest privately-owned wildlife parks in Australia.
Working with a great Management team your key responsibilities include:
Business development:
- Drive international sales (B2B via trade channels and tour operators and B2C via online sales) and maximise revenue
- Seek out and maintain new partnerships to further support the revenue goals of the business.
- Manage trade relations through contracting, negotiations, trade shows, sales calls etc for all international markets.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Stakeholder management – trade customers, industry partners including competitors, Destination NSW, Tourism Australia, ATEC and regional tourism authorities
- Represent the company at industry events as required
- Thorough understanding of the international and domestic tourism distribution network
- Strong networks with buyers and sellers across the Australian tourism industry
- Current experience as a BDM and/or Sales Manager
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Strong international sales experience
- It would be ideal if you have the ability to speak a second language
