About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Food and Beverage, this role will be responsible for management of the Inventory Team and circuit inventory levels, as well as driving continuous improvement to inventory management process and procedures across all Village Entertainment cinema locations and concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing management of the Inventory Team, providing coaching, mentoring and development opportunities.
- Oversee all inventory management processes and procedures for Village Entertainment Food & Beverage concepts.
- Review of current processes regarding Materials Requirement Planning and implementation of changes to ensure optimisation.
- Manage communication and reporting to relevant business divisions on inventory levels. This includes extensive training and coaching of the Inventory Team to ensure they are fully aware of all aspects of the requirements.
- Monitoring actual inventory levels to remain within organisational guidelines.
- Develop effective business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Undertake ad hoc individual projects
About You
We are looking for someone who is a natural leader, with an interest in developing and leading a small team. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for driving change within the business. Your experience reviewing processes and implementing changes will be a bonus in this role. This role could suit someone with a background in purchasing or merchandising, who is looking for their next step.
Key accountabilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Leadership and management abilities
- Working knowledge of Sales Forecasting methodologies (MRP, etc).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in SAP/ERP or a like system is essential
- Background in implementing process improvement and optimisation in the Retail industry.
- Strong cognitive/problem solving skills.
- A hands-on approach and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
