What are you going to do?
- Preparation and maintenance of all Risk, Compliance and Governance reporting, including liaison with relevant stakeholders in these areas.
- Incorporate and develop Environmental, Social and Governance factors in the investment process.
- Contribute towards the improvement in front-office / investment portfolio reporting and analysis tools.
- Monitor PIMCO portfolio mandates and third-party managers to ensure compliance with investment guidelines objectives.
- Review of all RAS guidelines relating to investments, including data collection in partnership with the Risk, Compliance and Governance teams.
- Review of the Investments Risk Control Assessment, providing updates as and when required.
- Maintain AAL Investment Policies and Procedures, including Market, Liquidity and Credit Risk, based on regulatory requirements and perform continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Ensure compliance with AIM Functional Rules and Standards.
- Experience in a similar investment or risk and compliance role in a medium to large Financial services organisation, with an interest in financial markets.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated awareness of risk / control frameworks surrounding the investment function.
