Salary $85,000 inc super
The primary purpose of this role is to support all Risk, Compliance, Governance and Environmental, Social and Governance requirements as they relate to the Australian Investment Function.
What are you going to do?
Preparation and maintenance of all Risk, Compliance and Governance reporting, including liaison with relevant stakeholders in these areas.
Incorporate and develop Environmental, Social and Governance factors in the investment process.
Contribute towards the improvement in front-office / investment portfolio reporting and analysis tools.
Monitor PIMCO portfolio mandates and third-party managers to ensure compliance with investment guidelines objectives.
Review of all RAS guidelines relating to investments, including data collection in partnership with the Risk, Compliance and Governance teams.
Review of the Investments Risk Control Assessment, providing updates as and when required.
Maintain AAL Investment Policies and Procedures, including Market, Liquidity and Credit Risk, based on regulatory requirements and perform continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance.
Ensure compliance with AIM Functional Rules and Standards.
What will you bring to the table?
Experience in a similar investment or risk and compliance role in a medium to large Financial services organisation, with an interest in financial markets.
Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated awareness of risk / control frameworks surrounding the investment function.
