Investment Analyst

A global fund manager with a focus on alternative investment offerings across specialist property, credit and private equity, Salter Brothers is currently looking for a talented Investment Analyst.

Joining our dynamic, professional team in Melbourne, your role will be to support the team and its stakeholders by providing a range of performance monitoring, financial modelling, financial reporting and analysis on assets and acquisitions for a range of hotel and property funds.

Through these contributions you will enable the team and its stakeholders to make well-informed, strategic investment decisions regarding current and potential portfolios and property assets, and ensure the ongoing delivery of investment returns to clients.

Reporting to the Investment Director - Funds Management, Property & Hotels, the responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing performance reports and providing analysis.
• Monitoring asset level and fund level performance in conjunction with internal stakeholder teams.
• Creating and maintaining cashflow models.
• Independent and internal valuation analysis, management and reporting.
• Contributing to and supporting the team and internal stakeholders through research, analysis, and reporting.

To be successful in the role, you will have a three to five years' professional experience gained in a relevant sector such as funds management and property. Knowledge of the broader hotel sector within the Australian market would be advantageous.

An excellent communicator with strong initiative, your strengths will include the ability to analyse property and financial data and formulate reports. Strong Excel financial modelling skills and the ability to work collaboratively are a must for our team.
