Support the timely and accurate production of investment reporting, for internal and external consumers, and the design, co-ordination and delivery of initiatives and improvements to systems and processes, to improve member and investor outcomes and ensure compliance with investment governance policy, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Role
Support the timely and accurate production of investment reporting, for internal and external consumers, and the design, co-ordination and delivery of initiatives and improvements to systems and processes, to improve member and investor outcomes and ensure compliance with investment governance policy, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support within a team that is accountable for Investment Reporting
- Preparation and delivery of accurate and timely periodic reporting.
- Ensuring integrity in the information reported and liaise as needed with other team members to resolve data quality issues.
- Performing calculations, run system queries, relevant to the accurate provision of performance reporting or forecasts.
- Knowledge of the business processes which create the data and the data sources that input into the reports.
- Maintaining Market information, data and statistics for Wealth Management Products
- Responding and resolving enquiries from clients and suppliers in relation to reports and data supplied by the team
- Assist in the preparation of Board and committee papers
- Strategy
- Monitor the competitive environment where appropriate
- Development and implementation of strategic agenda (where appropriate) for the Distribution Business Unit
- Implement business simplification where consistent with business strategy
- Change Management and Communications
- Supporting and championing change initiatives & projects utilising analytical skills & Investment knowledge
- Meet with stakeholders to gather and analyse change requirements
- Ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and of high quality.
- Manage change request activities to ensure implementation through to BAU systems & processes, (including all build, test and implementation cycles of development)
- Excellent communication skills required for articulation of complex legislative requirement framework to stakeholders & customers.
- Risk Management - support open risk identification and management.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience
- Tertiary Qualified in a relevant business discipline.
- Working knowledge of the Australian superannuation industry, including applicable regulation.
- Proven knowledge and direct experience in investment product management or governance roles (desirable).
- Ability to deliver operational excellence in a complex organization, strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrable skills in the areas of stakeholder management, analysis, reporting and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
