6-month contract for a Desktop Support Officer -SA Government department

Your new role
The desktop support officer will provide support across the company in managing escalated issues as well as to provide advice and guidance across the business IT needs.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in providing Level 2 support of desktop hardware, software and peripherals.
Ability to adapt to new and changing technologies and understand and apply new technology concepts.
Experience in carrying out incident management and customer request processes, including identifying and fixing software, operating system, business application, and connectivity problems, to swiftly return to regular service operations and minimise the impact on the department.
Experience in providing hardware and software support and doing a preliminary analysis of potential server and network infrastructure issues.
Knowledge on ICT infrastructure including laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
Previous experience with Windows, Android, MacOS and iOS.
A valid Working With Children Check
Possession of and willingness to use a current driver’s licence.
