Computergate offers a full range of IT Services to provide comprehensive and cost effective support services for all size businesses. We are currently seeking a Full time IT Field Service Technician at our office in Newington, Sydney, NSW to provide high levels of customer satisfaction through service teams, on-site in NSW and remotely throughout Asia & ANZ.
Primary responsibilities include:
The technicians will assist in the delivery of break/fix service by providing dispatch, logistics, workshop and Service Desk, in-house & on-site.
Technical expertise in End User technologies, including PC's, Laptops, Point of Sale, Printers, Network devices, Microsoft Windows, etc.
Follow detailed processes for the tracking of Service Tickets & Time management.
Deploy technical resources in other locations to perform timely resolution of support requests within specified SLA’s.
Experience in hardware troubleshooting at the desktop & end user level.
Overall professional attitude with excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to quickly and accurately act upon and diagnose any equipment issues reported and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Assisting with Spare Parts Management & Logistics duties
Working and communicating effectively under pressure
Other minimum Job requirements:
After hours work is to be expected and will be paid as over time, there will be after hours Roster shared amongst all the Service delivery Technicians.
Knowledge, understanding and use of Ticketing Systems
Ability to schedule and co-ordinate remote tasks working with Computergate certified Service Providers.
Capable of working in a Team environment assisting in multiple tasks on hand in different Time Zones across Australia & New Zealand.
Key selection criteria:
Industry accreditation and minimum of 2 years recent experience with IT & Service Desk related support.
Knowledge and experience service ticketing systems and Hardware break/fix services for Spare Part replacement.
Good understanding of Logistics & Inventory Management techniques
Previous exposure in remotely coordinating technical outcomes to the client.
Strong personal time management skills and priority setting skills
Excellent communication & English skills (Fluent written & verbal a prerequisite) and putting the customer first.
Excellent customer liaison ability.
Professional presentation, self-motivated, proactive attitude.
Ability to work unsupervised with strong problem solving skills.
Australian Permanent Resident minimum
Driver’s License & Own car is essential and willing to drive to client sites, mileage expenses including mobile phone allowance will be paid by Computergate.
Salary negotiable on qualified experience $60,000 to $65,000base per year plus statutory super.
